Description	The E3N cohort comprises female members of a national health insurance scheme covering teachers, and teachers' spouses of the education system. Overall, 98 995 female volunteers 40-65 years old were enrolled between February 1989 and November 1991. This cohort is the French component of the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition (EPIC).
